[One’s own story as a basis for supervision]
This project explores the need for innovative regulatory approaches in response to the increasing complexity and person-centeredness of public service provision. Traditional top-down regulation, focused on fixed standards, is insufficient for addressing the diverse and changing needs of vulnerable populations, such as people with dementia, children with psychological disorders, and job seekers with limited education. The project aims to develop narrative-based, reflexive regulation methods that enhance the relationship between users, service providers, and regulators. Using a mixed-methods action research approach, it will create a toolkit for improving dialogue, accountability, and person-centered care across service networks.
